Heating Glass

Heated glass has been part of IQ for thirty years. Our experience and leadership in the development, design, manufacturing and installation of radiant heated glass windows is without peers. IQ Radiant Glass™ Window Systems with over one thousand installed projects, has some projects in operation for over 25 years without a failure. IQ Radiant Heating Glass Window Systems has something important to owners, architects and builders interested in heating glass projects, EXPERIENCE. There are start up companies trying to learn as they go, but with over 1000 installed projects IQ has the knowledge and the innovations as well as the experts in all phases of design, manufacturing and installation of heating glass systems. You can take advantage of our experience or become part of some start-up learning curve. IQ is expanding our global base. In 2015 we will be adding glass manufacturing capacity in Europe and North America. We are presently establishing strategic partners in important locations in the United States, Canada and Mexico. We welcome select professionals that want to be part of this necessary and useful technology.

Operable windows and doors as well as fixed units can be configured with IQ Radiant Heated Glass. Structural glass walls, Storefronts, high performance steel, aluminum, wood and aluminum clad wood windows are all part of our system. Copper and bronze clad wood windows and doors and all types of custom architect designed windows are candidates for radiant heated glass.

IQ Radiant Glass™ Window Systems has the support of project-experienced installers and technicians and is suitable for high performance architectural windows on any size project. Our installed manufacturing experience includes important historic buildings, airports, schools, churches, hotels, educational, institutional, hotels, restaurants, luxury homes as well as governmental and special applications such as indoor swimming pools, greenhouses and all advanced green building techniques.

Pace financing

Save Energy and Capital: IQ Radiant Heated Glass & Solar can be combined to reduce energy costs by over 25% and achieve a Net Zero Building, Commercial or Residential, and can be financed for twenty years with no money down under the PACE Program, The video below explains how.

About C-Pace -

C-PACE allows building owners to finance qualifying energy efficiency and clean energy improvements through a voluntary assessment on their property tax bill. Property owners pay for the improvements over time through this additional charge on their property tax bill, and the repayment obligation transfers automatically to the next owner if the property is sold. Capital provided under the C-PACE program is secured by a lien on the property, so low-interest capital can be raised from the private sector.

Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE) is an innovative program that is helping commercial, industrial and multi-family property owners access affordable, long-term financing for smart energy upgrades to their buildings.

THIS VIDEO BELOW CAN SHOW YOU HOW TO MAKE YOUR PROJECT A REALITY USING UNIQUE PACE FINANCING:

IQ Radiant Glass™ is a tempered piece of glass with an invisible metal coating. The resistive qualities of the coating creates radiant heat when a controlled electric current is applied to the conductive coating. The electric current in the resistive coating generates radiant energy which warms the glass until the glass radiates heat in the infrared range. The radiant heat does not directly heat the air. Radiant heated glass heats the objects and people in the room and has an efficiency at least 25% greater than forced hot air systems. THE MOST IMPORTANT RADIANT HEATING GLASS PROJECT EVER - SAVING THE TERRA COTTA ARMY

Wednesday, November 6, 2013

The major element of a window is glass, a material that by itself has limited insulating qualities. We are going to discover how to radically improve the performance of a window by using a radiant glass window system that allow for greater design latitude, improved thermal comfort and significant energy savings.

We all recognize the importance of windows in the design, security, aesthetics and function of a new building  and in the rehabilitation or adaptive reuse of an existing building.  Windows define a building.  Windows and doors  have the extraordinary feature in they are simultaneously installed inside and outside of the building in the same location.

The major element of a window, glass, a material that by itself has very little natural  insulating qualities. We are going to discover how to radically improve the performance of a window by using a Radiant Glass Window System.

The use of a Radiant Glass Window System eases the limitations of size, placement and  the number of windows.  Conventional windows come into conflict with the economic and social goals of conserving and limiting the energy demands of buildings. Radiant Window Systems help achieve those goals.

Internal mechanical heating and ventilation requirements are dictated by the selection, use and placement of conventional windows and affect interior architectural design and furniture placement.

We will demonstrate how you can expand your design innovations with the understanding and use of radiant window technology.

To that end we are inviting architects to take our sponsored AIA course:

WoodWindows with grateful assistance from RGI, IQ Glass and RadiantWindowTech.com is the sponsor for the following course. The course is complimentary to all designers.
Course # WW0801-W
1 Learning Unit/Hour
Qualifies for HSW

In this course we are going to introduce you to radical window systems that can adjust the effective R-value of the windows to match or exceed the walls in which they are mounted. Furthermore the windows in this system can act as a primary or supplemental heating system. The window system efficiencies will provide the designing architect an evolutionary opportunity to expand design latitude, all this accompanied by significant energy savings and economic justification.
